DOCS DUN IMPRESS
(Sadie) HYPP-NN
is an older, Red Dun mare who is one our best producers. We have
had three foals out of her that have all been phenomenal. Her
foals are some of the first to sale. She traces back to the
foundation bloodlines of THREE BARS
and DOC BAR and
also to SNIPPER REED
and IMPRESSIVE.

the 1959 AQHA high-point Halter Stallion. The great
DOC BAR was a grandson
of THREE BARS.
In roping, reining, and other arena events a number
of THREE BARS
get such as SUGAR BARS
sired 30 AQHA Champions. Another son,
PAR THREE, earned a
Superior at Halter and sired the great ZAN
PARR BAR. His son
GAY BAR KING became a
successful sire of performance horses.
STEEL BARS another son
of THREE BARS
earned most of his fame in the show ring. One of
STEEL BAR’s sons
ALEDO BAR was
an AQHA Champion and a leading sire of AQHA Champions. The great
ROCKET BAR was
a leading sire of ROM Race colts. His son

Western Pleasure by Tommy Manion at Denver in 1967. He was AAA, an

DOC BAR:
known as the horse that revolutionized the cutting
horse industry. He was shown 13 times at Halter and earned 36
Halter Points. He stood Grand Champion 10 of the 13 times shown
and Reserve Grand Champion 1 of the 13 times shown. Out of 19 foal
crops 485 foals were registered with AQHA. Out of those 485 foals

Registers of Merit, 9 earned Superior Halter Awards, 20 earned Superior
Performance Awards, and 2 were World Champions. This does not
include the foals that never competed in any AQHA events but competed
only in NCHA cuttings. AQHA records don’t truly reflect his
greatness as there is not an accurate count of the thousands of dollars
his offspring won at NCHA events. In 1968 the World Champion mare
of the NCHA was DOC BAR’s
daughter FIZZABAR.
In 1969 at the NCHA Futurity 2nd through
4th places were won by DOC BAR’s
