LEOS SMOKEY LACE

LEOS SMOKEY LACE
(Smokey) – is a big black mare we
purchased this year. We purchased her because of her
QUINCY DAN
bloodlines, which we had in one of our favorite, now deceased
broodmares. She also traces back to
LEO as her name indicates. With her
looks and bloodlines, I thing she’ll have some nice foals when bred back
to our stallion, SUNQUEST BOOT HILL
for a 2007 foal.
LEO:
A look at the titles won by
LEO’s offspring show
that he sired athletic ability as well as speed. He put lightning
speed into many of his offspring, but his influence extended beyond the
racetrack. His sons and daughters also showed up in halter and
cutting competitions. A number of his colts also excelled under
saddle, but achieved no particular fame, or AQHA record.
SIR QUINCY DAN:
sired 947 registered foals, including eight World Champions and 17 AQHA
Champions. His get included 246 performers, which earned 9,579.5
points, 51 Superior awards and 77 Registers of Merit. He was
undefeated in his own show career, winning 12 of 12 shows and earning 20
Halter Points. He was sired by QUINCY
DAN, Superior Halter with 68 Halter Points,
16 Grand Champion and 4 Reserve Grand Champion Points.
